When Inspiration and Passion Collide

Our Journey

Our Birth

Skye and Fatima were working on separate projects when they were introduced by a mutual friend. Skye likes to say “that it was love at first sight” when they first met, as they both felt that their values were aligned and that together they could create something truly powerful.

Two women from very different backgrounds, yet with similar stories of adversity, both have long histories in small business and both equally passionate about making a difference for others, particularly women.

It became very clear, very early that they were destined to be partners in crime, together working and creating what is now the iWoman Project.

Our 1st iWoman Event

Dipping our toe in the water to see if this was what women wanted.

The short answer was an unequivocal…YES…!!

That was awesome, let’s do it again…

This time we thought, why not duplicate the first event but take it interstate.

So we took the iWoman Project to Tasmania.

Proudly hosted by The University of Tasmania.

And yes it was another incredible success…!

Now we’re creating a movement…

We just couldn’t resist squeezing in another event before the end of the year.

This time back in Melbourne and proudly supported by RMIT.

2016

And the Rest is History

To date the iWoman Project has held many major events and workshops, helping to educate and enlighten women from all walks of life and social demographics.

The iWoman workshops are unique in that the focus isn’t solely on delivering content but a blend of inspiration, content and real stories, shared by women who have suffered financial insecurity and hardship, in the hope of creating an awareness to the challenges women have with money.

Workshop Topics

  • Financial Literacy
  • Family Law
  • Saving & Budgeting
  • Financial Abuse
  • Debt Reduction
  • Financial Planning
  • Emergency Funds
  • Vision & Purpose
  • Money Management
  • Money Mindset
  • Investing: Shares & Property
  • Taxation
  • Business & Entrepreneurship

Let’s make it official…

Officially launching the iWoman Project was the perfect way to thank those who had supported and encouraged us and to let the world know we were here to stay.

And of course we had a huge amount of fun in the process…!
